The Scriptures
We hold steadfast to the belief that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments constitute the Bible, “as it is in truth, the Word of God” (I Thessalonians 2:13). We affirm the verbal, plenary inspiration of the original writings and trust in God’s preservation of His pure words to every generation (II Timothy 3:16, Psalm 12:6-8). The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed. We embrace the Masoretic Text of the Old Testament and the Textus Receptus of the New Testament as the authoritative texts of the original languages. For the English-speaking world, we exclusively use the Authorized King James Version, which stands as our sole and final authority for faith and practice.
The Godhead
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-equal in power, glory, and perfection, and identical in nature (Deuteronomy 6:4; II Corinthians 13:14). We affirm that God created the universe in six literal, twenty-four-hour days (Genesis 1:1-27).
The Person and Work of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. His incarnation was purposed to reveal God and redeem sinful humanity (John 1:1-2, 14; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6, 7:14; Philippians 2:5-8). Through His vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice on the cross and His bodily resurrection, He secured redemption and justification for all who believe (Romans 3:24-25; I Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:7). He ascended into Heaven, where He now serves as our High Priest, Advocate, and Intercessor (Acts 1:9-10; Hebrews 9:24, 7:25; Romans 8:34).
The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, and seals all believers until the day of redemption (John 16:8-11; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13-14). The sign gifts, such as speaking in tongues and healing, were temporary and ceased with the apostolic era (II Corinthians 12:12; I Corinthians 13:8). While God often answers prayers for physical healing, ultimate deliverance from suffering awaits the resurrection.
Satan
We believe in the person of Satan, a created being who rebelled against God and continues to wage war against His purposes (Isaiah 14:12-17; Ezekiel 28:11-19). Though powerful, Satan’s authority is limited by God, and his eternal destiny is everlasting torment in the Lake of Fire (Job 1:6-12; Revelation 20:10).
Man
Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam, inheriting a sinful nature and becoming alienated from God. In this fallen state, man is utterly unable to remedy his lost condition apart from divine grace (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:22-23). Despite his fallen state, man’s worth is evident in Christ’s redemptive sacrifice, and each person possesses inherent dignity, deserving respect and Christian love (Psalm 8:4-9; Colossians 3:9-11).
Marriage
We uphold the biblical definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24). Any sexual activity outside this union, including homosexuality, fornication, adultery, or attempts to alter one’s God-given gender, is contrary to Scripture and deemed sinful (Romans 1:26-29; Leviticus 18:1-30).
The Way of Salvation
Salvation is offered by grace through faith, apart from works (Ephesians 2:8-10). Christ died for all, and each individual must choose to accept or reject this gift (Hebrews 2:9). The redeemed are secure in Christ forever and are assured of eternal life as their present possession (John 6:37-40, 10:27-30).
The Church
We believe in the autonomy of the local New Testament church, an assembly of baptized believers committed to the Great Commission (Acts 14:27, 20:28; I Timothy 3:1-13). The ordinances of baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are observed as testimonies of faith and obedience (Matthew 28:19-20; I Corinthians 11:23-26).
Biblical Separation
Believers are called to live in a manner that honors the Lord, separating from religious apostasy, worldly practices, and sinful pleasures (II Corinthians 6:14-7:1; I John 2:15-17).
The Return of Christ
We believe in the imminent, premillennial, and pretribulational return of Christ. At the Rapture, believers will be caught up with the Lord, followed by a seven-year tribulation and Christ’s millennial reign on earth (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:1-6).
Our Eternal State
We affirm the bodily resurrection of all men: the redeemed to eternal life and the unredeemed to everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:46; John 5:28-29). The saved dwell in conscious bliss with the Lord, while the unsaved face eternal torment in the Lake of Fire (Luke 16:19-26; Revelation 20:11-15).
